Astaeria is a first-person exploration game where poems power the world generator. Feed it a poem, like the ones packaged within, and it will give you a vibrant world of color and procedurally arranged music composed by Matt Read.

The poems included in the game are:

Praise for Astaeria

"the fact that this exists makes me want to hyperventilate and cry oh gosh oh gosh bless this <3 <3" -- Lana Polansky

"It's a wonderful ambient experience for any poetry fan, or for anyone who likes to imagine that a verse can be a place, that a word can be a tone, a note." -- Leigh Alexander, Offworld

"Lugo is made of more than ambition. She has achieved. With a piece of software she calls Astaeria, Lugo has married her favorite poems with procedurally generated virtualscapes for us to explore." -- Chris Priestman, Kill Screen

"Very cool. I like it a lot." -- @ceMelusine

"Astaeria by @LycaonTalks is a bag of d**ks. 10/10, would d**k again." -- @cosmicwangst

"The best way I've ever embarrassed myself" -- Alix from RobotLovesKitty
